Our beloved Veli-Pekka 'Vellu' Niitamo passed away on Friday morning, December 14, 2012 at his home in Island Ferry, Helsinki, Finland. After having suffered from a severe illness, they left us peacefully while sleeping in his own bed, surrounded by his closest family.
As you know, Vellu was very social and active in many fields of life, Both professionally and other wise, in Finland foodtography and abroad. We created this website to celebrate remembrance and honor his life. We would like to learn how they touched your life.
