I've been away. For a long, long time, were it rains in blogger-time. I do not really my reason for absence is especially interesting or relevant, so I will jump gracefully down through the hole and tell about being a tea party with Hatter, Dormouse and all the others.
Saturday prop stylist nyc morning I took away from home to meet with the 20 cool blogger-girls; Andra, Anne, Gitte, Ida, Kathrine, Katja, Maja, Mathilde, Marie, Rebecca, Rebecca Andrup, Rebecca, Sabina, Sabrina, Sidsel, prop stylist nyc Simone, Susanne, Tanja, Xenia J., Xenia Island. I had looked forward very much, especially because it had been such a wonderful experience last time. The sun was shining and I simply could not help dancing on the way to the bus, hihi.
Like all I should of course go and take pictures of it all and when I started to go around the tables, I noticed something odd; on board the cards were different characters from Alice-tales (there are two stories). It quickly turned out that it was not them that had been covered up to, but that we "just" have to draw a character and then put us there which was covered up. When all had taken their seats we were given a short presentation of the day's program and buffet's content.
After a beautiful and tasty lunch it was finally time for the long-awaited jeopardy, which is a recurring guest from last bogbloggertræf. Once again it was different bogrelevante questions that we hold to attempt to answer the question of winning one of the four different versions of Alice in Wonderland country. prop stylist nyc
After the first round it was time to it a tea party really is; namely cake. There had been baked all sorts of different kinds of cakes; there were macaroons, raspberry slices, chocolate cake, homemade lemon moon and shown also a single gulerødskage. For the smaller cake lustful had also been made a fruit salad with vanilla prop stylist nyc cream.
After all had been put something cake on their plate (no, all was not as greedy as me who just plugged away), returned to our seats and final round of the quiz game. Weee! It actually went very well for my team, although we did not hit No. 1. But it would prove to final question would change everything in relation to our position (I can feel how the atmosphere built?). The issue was to be had to guess when Disney's film Alice in Wonderland was released as a film for the first time. I knew that. I have an adhesive brain that sticks in the strangest facts, such as the Alice in Wonderland movie was first published in 1951. And because I was perfectly safe and that our team chose to focus everything on my answer, we ended up winning all competition. Woop woop!
