Santiago Calatrava, the famous Valencian arqutiecto-engineer who has lately been eye of the controversy, was named yesterday as one of the consultants of the Pontifical Council for Culture Vatican. On appointment comes directly from the hand of Pope Benedict XVI.
It is no less appointment, as this group of consultants act as experts residing in different countries which advises the Vatican on issues related to culture, normativa haccp visiting that place providing advice on studies and tips for the institution.
Recall that Calatrava received the Asturias Award of Arts 1999 for his outstanding work, highly published in journals related to architecture, but in recent months has had to face more unfortunate situations.
